As a Latina living in the United States keeping my Hispanic traditions is very important not only to me but my family in general not just the cuisine but the traditions and celebrations!
And as a Latina blogger is not only to rave about successful Latinos who have made their mark on whatever industry interests them but also a whole other world of celebrations they have come to introduce to Latinos living in the United States. Let's be real! Everyday more and more Latinos are taking part of industries where when you heard of Latina you thought Jennifer Lopez or Salma Hayek. Now you are hearing names like Sofia Vergara, Carlos Ponce or William Levy Latinos who were very successful but though living in the U.S they weren't as known as in Spanish speaking countries. Being a Latino in the US is tough, traditions and celebrations change and parents struggle to keep those traditions alive with their kids or grand kids. No matter what your heritage is it's tough! That's why I find it such a honor that Macy's takes pride in celebrating the heritage whatever that might be!
